Eric Wolf

Vice President, Innovation


As Vice President of Innovation at AMERICAN SYSTEMS, Mr. Wolf leads cross-cutting initiatives to advance the organization and promote a culture of innovative thinking.  He develops the vision and strategy to drive transformative change including application of new technologies on programs and within the company to drive customer mission success and increase efficiencies and effectiveness. 

Mr. Wolf began his tenure with AMERICAN SYSTEMS in 2017 when he stood up the organization’s corporate solutioning function.  In this role he was actively involved in advancing solution-oriented thinking that has supported business growth, advancement of company capabilities and methods, and development of intellectual property.

Mr. Wolf draws from his experience and education that crosses the domains of science, business, and art.  He began his career at E-Systems (Raytheon) where he developed software for C4ISR systems and later built and grew an IR&D program for battlespace deconfliction to become one of the organization’s first commercially licensed software products.  He continued his growth as a business leader at L-3 Communications (BTG/Titan) where he held P&L responsibility for a book of business supporting Federal Civilian Customers with services from Enterprise IT to software development and hardware integration and support.   Mr. Wolf augments his P&L and technical background with back-office leadership experience. He served as a Vice President at CACI with corporate oversight in Human Resource for Compensation and Benefits, and with that, involvement in company acquisitions and integration. 

Mr. Wolf holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (cum laude) from the George Washington University, School of Engineering and Applied Science; attended The General Manager’s Program (TGMP) at Harvard Business School; holds a Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification; and brings “right-brain” thinking through a life-long passion in sculptural, kinetic, and visual arts.
